UPCOMING BOOK: Kuv Pog

Are you looking for Hmong language curriculum and children’s book in the classroom? If so, we’re pleased to share with you news about an upcoming book, “KUV POG” written by Xe Yang. As the author describes it:

“I wanted the story to have lots of repetitions because that is key factor in learning a language. I wanted the book to be funny and playful, so I threw in some humor. I also wanted to break the stereotypes that POG or grandmas only cook and babysitting for their grandchildren. I wanted to convey to the reader that POG can ride a bike and read books to their grandkids as well other things. POG can pretty do anything!”
